Austin Hindu Temple and Community Center
The Austin Hindu Temple and Community Center is a prominent Hindu temple located in Austin, Texas, dedicated to serving the spiritual, cultural, and social needs of the Hindu community in the Greater Austin area. Established on December 20, 2001, the temple has grown to become a focal point for religious activities, cultural celebrations, and community gatherings.
History
The Austin Hindu Temple and Community Center was founded in 2001 by a group of dedicated volunteers and community leaders with the vision of creating a place of worship and cultural exchange for Hindus living in and around Austin. Initially, grassroots fund raising events were organized and pujas and festivals organized at school cafeterias, growing into the 76 acre temple in the current form.

May, 2023 Punah Prathishta of Sri Raja Rajeshwari Devi August, 2023 New steps and road in front of Raja Gopuram were completed. [1]
