Apache Datafusion is an open-source extensible query engine built in the Rust programming language using Apache Arrow for its underlying memory representation. It offers SQL and Dataframe APIs to query the data.[1]
History
[edit]Datafusion was initially part of the Apache Arrow Project since 2019. In 2024, Datafusion became a top level Apache project.[2]
