Antoni Tabla Sonic Covers[1] is a YouTube channel dedicated to comic dubs of the Sonadow ship from the Sonic the Hedgehog fandom. The channel is operated by Antoni Tabla and his team of voice actors who create comic dubs based on various online artists' work. The comics themselves center around the homosexual fan-made ship between the characters Sonic and Shadow the Hedgehog from the video game series Sonic the Hedgehog.
Antoni Tabla's philosophy involves creating quality videos for the niche of Sonadow comic dubs while adding his own storytelling elements and comedy to pre-existing art in order to create engagement and separate himself from similar content creators.[2] Elements such as a horse randomly appearing in videos, Eggman's voice actor being obnoxiously loud and the narrator having workplace issues are some of the elements that are included to give the channel personality.
Antoni Tabla is a born and raised Rhode Island native[3] and uses his environment for inspiration when making his "IRL" videos in which he does ludicrous shenanigan's. Antoni has also starred in various films with underdog productions[4] in which he plays various characters including himself and warlord Willaim Jenkinson.
Early life
[edit]Raised by a Romanian family in Rhode Island Antoni Tabla lived a fairly simple life. However despite this he was orphaned at a young age due to the death of his mother.[5] This landed him in an orphanage to which he claims he was bullied most of his life for his "abnormal personality". These events sparked his love for Sonic the hedgehog as he was amazed by his carefree attitude, fast speed, and unwavering determination. Antoni used this passion to channel his creativity and made youtube videos on a channel.[6] The videos, while not taking off gave Antoni an outlet to express himself and was the start of his creative endeavors
The start of the channel
[edit]Antoni began his channel in 2022 when he mixed a song from Sonic Adventure 2 "A ghost's pumpkin soup" with popular hip hop song still D.R.E.[7] Antoni continued to make Sonic mixes and found limited success. Later Antoni found a spanish dub for a comic called Sonadow: college life on youtube. Feeling inspired Antoni gathered some friends to voice act and created Sonadow: college life dub chapter one which took off and started his youtube career. Realizing he found a niche that worked Antoni continued to make Sonadow comic dubs and continues to this day.
