Alonsauce14 is an Instagram account dedicated to posting Formula One related memes in both image and video form.
It has been founded on 20th February 2023 by a user that has since stayed under the name of "Alonsauce14"
Early beginnings
[edit]The first post made by Alonsauce14 was a picture of Antonio Giovinazzi inserted into a tweet with a caption "how I look at a cashier after handing them of paper with "$1 billion dollars" written with green crayons". The post has not gained much traction online as it stands on 36 likes to date.
Alonsuace14 has followed up with more posts almost daily, each one of them doing better then the one before until one post went viral, which severely changed the path of the page.
The Growth
[edit]First viral video and it's consequences
[edit]The first viral video published on the profile was made after the Australian Grand Prix on 3rd April 2023. The video of Logan Sargeant crashing into the back of Nyck de Vries during the race restart, with the caption " 'Logan remember to brake at least 100 meters before the corner' Logan:'What the f*** is a meter 🦅🦅🦅🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸' ". This video has since gained over 3.2 million views and 142 thousand likes on Instagram which has single-handedly amassed over 500 new followers to the account, allowing for much greater reach with every other post.
