[edit]Davies won a tournament in Wales in 2022 beating the number one ranked Welsh amateur player Alex Taubman in the final.[2]
Davies was entered into the draw draw at the 2023 Championship League held at the Morningside Arena in Leicester, from 26 June 2023. In his opening match in the round-robin phase, he earned a credible 3-1 win over 33rd ranked Joe O'Connor.[3] He qualified for the 2024 German Masters with a win over Sydney Wilson.[4] At the event in January 2024, he faced Marco Fu,[5] before losing to eventual finalist Si Jiahui in the last 32.[6]
In February 2024, he reached the last 32 of the 2024 WSF Championship, his run included wins over Sean Maddocks, Peter Devlin and Hrithik Jain.[7] Later that month, he replaced Ronnie O'Sullivan in the draw for the 2024 Welsh Open where he beat Liam Graham 4-1.[8][9]
He entered Q School in May 2024. His performances were enough to earn a place as a top-up player competing as an amateur at the 2024 Championship League in Leicester in June 2024.[10] He defeated Lei Peifan 3-1 and drew with former professional Jamie O'Neill to finish second in his round robin group.[11]
