Aleksandra is the daughter of Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky's publisher, Pyotr Jurgenson (1836–1904), and his wife Sofiya Jurgenson. Tchaikovsky was close to the Jurgenson family, and exchanged letters with Aleksandra. The letters also show that Tchaikovsky would spend the holidays with the Jurgenson family. Referenced are the letters. [1] [2] [3] [4]
