Din Muktar (born April 23, 1996), professionally known as Agent 00 or simply Agent, is a Canadian YouTuber, Twitch streamer, and a founding member of the content group AMP. He is best known for his commentary on the NBA 2K video game series, gaming industry critique, and comedic content.
Early Life
[edit]Agent 00 was born in Toronto, Ontario, to Ethiopians parents. He grew up in a multicultural community and developed a passion for video games at a young age. He briefly attended York University before dropping out to pursue content creation full-time.[2]
Career
[edit]Agent launched his YouTube channel in 2013, initially focusing on gameplay from various titles, including Grand Theft Auto V. In 2015, he began uploading NBA 2K videos, blending gameplay with humorous commentary. His creative challenges and critiques of the game's mechanics quickly gained him a loyal following.[3]
In 2020, Agent co-founded AMP, a collective of content creators including Duke Dennis, Kai Cenat, and Fanum. The group creates collaborative videos ranging from skits to gaming challenges, amassing millions of views.[4]
Agent is also a critic of the NBA 2K franchise, using his platform to discuss issues like monetization and gameplay quality. His outspoken approach has positioned him as a voice for the gaming community.[5]
