Draft:Afro-centric Mathematics

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Afro-centric Mathematics is a sub-field of Mathematics, which aims to promote the intuition gained from several notable African-originated mathematicians and their work. That of the studies of Topology, Geometry, and Number theory etc. can be safely represented through this lens, just as they are taught today. A proponent of Afro-centric mathematics is Terrence Howard. who considered that 1 times 1 is, in fact, equal to 2.
