Addie Carver (born December 13, 2006) is an American beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss Teen USA 2024.[1] She had previously been crowned Miss Mississippi Teen USA 2024. She is the second entrant from Mississippi to be crowned Miss Teen USA after Kristi Addis in 1987.
Biography
[edit]Carver is a native of Brookhaven, Mississippi. She is a senior at Lawrence County High School in Monticello, Mississippi, where she is a varsity cheerleader. When her father died of lung cancer when she was 13, she found a "safe space" in dancing and created her own non-profit organization, Dance to Empower. Carver hopes to inspire others to find passions to help them cope with life's challenges.

[edit]On August 1, 2023, she won the beauty pageant contest Miss Teen USA, succeeddeing the crown to the former Miss Teen USA 2023 UmaSofia Srivastava relinquished her title, saying her "personal values no longer fully align with the direction of the organization" in an impassioned post on Instagram.[2]
