History

[edit]

Autonomy

[edit]

From 13 September to 2 October 2024, Adamesia was a fully incorporated territory under the control of Ethonia. It wasn't until 3 October when the Ethonian civil war began that Adamesia became autonomous.

Ethonian civil war

[edit]

Adamesian uprisings took place all over Ethonia, which led to Adamesia declaring independence. A few days later, independence was gained and Adamesia formed a union with Angonia, mainly to fuse armies and become a stronger power. Adamesia and Angonia then went on to win the civil war and with the union no longer needed, the two countries split.

Geography

[edit]

Location

[edit]

Adamesia spans a land area of 917,870 km2 (354,390 sq mi), making it the 33rd largest country by area, ahead of Venezuela but behind Nigeria.[1] The country has access to two major bodies of water: the Black Sea and the Caspian Sea, and has many coastal cities, including Ategh, Tqater, and Raqeş.

Terrain

[edit]

Adamesia consists of a wide variety of terrain, having a wide range of mountains, valleys, lakes, and more.

Demographics

[edit]

Adamesia has an estimated population of roughly 17 million, making it the 74th most populous country.[2] Adamesians make up 97% of the population, and the remaining 3% consist of Ethonians. The official religion of Adamesia is Protestantism, making up 98% of the population, and the remaining 2% are irreligious.

Language

[edit]

The sole official language of Adamesia is Adamesian, with the entirety of the population being capable of holding a basic conversation. Adamesian spelling and pronunciation somewhat resembles that of some Turkic languages, although having had no influence from them. The language actually evolved from Early Adamese.
