AR Rahman Unplugged is a musical concert telecast as a Television Special on the Indian National broadcaster Doordarshan to commemorate its Golden Jubilee. It was organised in Sri Fort Auditorium in New Delhi. Besides the music maestro AR Rahman, the concert featured Kailash Kher, Sivamani the percussionist from Chennai, Hariharan, Sadhana Sargam and Andrea Jeremiah.
The film was aired on Doordarshan as the curtain raiser for its 50th Year celebrations. The Minister for Broadcasting and Information, Government of India, Ambika Soni inaugurated the concert.[1]
