AFC Warsaw is a Polish amateur association football club based in Warsaw, Poland. The team competes in Klasa B, the 8th tier of Polish football league system (Warsaw group III[4]), organized by Mazovian Football Association .
History
[edit]The club was established in September 2021 based on a long-standing six-a-side team FC Foreigntina[5] and it is Warsaw's only fully foreign-owned club with the majority of non-Polish players. In April 2022 was registered to play in Polish football league system.
Two roses on the club badge are the White Rose of York and the Red Rose of Lancashire, which represent the towns of club co-founders Richard Harrison of Kingston upon Hull and Neil Riley of Burnley. The badge also has a stylized Mermaid of Warsaw.
Official club colors are amber and claret.
In its first season AFC Warszawa placed 7th out of twelve teams playing in group 3 of Warsaw "Klasa B" division.[6]
