The 2024 Calvintropica General Election was held on Saturday, 15 June 2024, to elect 500 members to the House of commons. The Social Democratic Party (SDP), led by Rob, achieved a historic landslide victory with 62.1% of the votes. The Liberal Democratic Unionist Party (LDUP), led by Calvin Clark, secured 32.6% of the votes, while Heather Fittons Common Sense party received 6.2%.
This was the first election after the dissolution of the monarchy on 31 December 2023. Calvin Clark, who was formerly the king, now leads the LDUP. The transition from monarchy to a parliamentary system marked a significant change in Calvintropica's political landscape, making this election particularly momentous.Under the proportional representation system. These percentages translated into the following seats out of the 500-seat National Assembly: SDP: 311 seats LDUP: 158 seats CSP: 31 seats. This left Rob with a commanding majority of 122 seats.
