The zero euro note (0€) is a souvenir note. It is a purple and a dark purple banknote and contains some symbols, including the Lübeck Cathedral on the obverse version.. It is a note, which is without value, but crippling.

As of July 2024, in Berlin, there is a vending machine that sells these exact banknotes, and requires a payment of 2€ first. There are also such vending machines in Lübeck, and also some in Norway[citation needed].
