In The Middle is the debut album by singer/songwriter, Erin Cald. After a 2 year writing and recording process, the concept album was released on September 1, 2024. Featuring 13 songs, and two interludes, Cald tells the story of the last few years of her own life, where she dealt with heartbreak, loss, love, and the feeling of being stuck with your self, in the uncomfortable place of being a young adult. Cald tells this story through complex lyrics, and beautiful melodies. With her unique music style, combining folk music and pop music, Cald's unique sound rounds out the story.
In the months leading up to its release, four singles were released, Summer Camp, Sunflowers, Middle Of July, and finally, Fall From Grace, just one month before the release of the full album.
