Dlapkin Dol (Macedonian: Длапкин Дол, Albanian: Llapkidoll) is a village in the municipality of Kičevo, North Macedonia. It used to be part of the former Zajas Municipality.
History
[edit]During the period of 1912-1913, members the Serbian army massacred committed a massacre in the village. The Hajro, Meti, Qerimi families were eradicated, as well as 18 other inhabitants of the village.[1] After the capture of the village by Partisan forces, 11 Albanian men were executed by the incoming communist forces.[2]
Demographics
[edit]The village is attested in the 1467/68 Ottoman tax registry (defter) for the Nahiyah of Kırçova. The village had a total of 7 houses, excluding bachelors (mucerred).[3]
According to the 1942 Albanian census, Dlapkin Dol was inhabited by a total of 345 Muslim Albanians.[4]
As of the 2021 census, Dlapkin Dol had 388 residents with the following ethnic composition:[5]

According to the 2002 census, the village had a total of 636 inhabitants.[6] Ethnic groups in the village include:[6]
