Michael E. DeBakey High School for Health Professions at Qatar (DHSHP@Q in short) is a private international middle and secondary school in Doha, Qatar. It is modeled after the original school in Houston, Texas of the same name.

Named after Michael E. DeBakey, the school opened in September 2008. Debakey offers education from grades 5 through 12. The school's structure has the 8th Grade Academy to prepare students for the high school levels. The curriculum is based on United States school coursework with Advanced Placement classes.[1] The school's classes is taught in the English language. Students will pay tuition; vouchers will accommodate low income students. The Houston Chronicle stated that the school attracted Qataris, Arab and American expatriates.[2]

The school is located in Al Messeila and is close to the Hamad Medical Center.[1]

According to an instagram post,[3] Debakey is being instructed to shut down. This news came out of nowhere to students and the staff. Parents of students at Michael E. DeBakey High School for Health Professions in Qatar received an email from the school administration informing them that the current academic year will be the last for the school. The decision to close the school was made by the Ministry of Education and Higher Education. This affects more than 400 students. The Ministry has decided to end the contract with the operator of the school, leading to a name change to “International School for Medical Sciences and Engineering.”
