David E. Smith (author)

David E. Smith (1936–2023) was a distinguished Canadian scholar of political science[1] and decorated Department of Political Studies professor[2] at the University of Saskatchewan.[3] He is author[4] of Canada’s Deep Crown: Beyond Elizabeth II, The Crown’s Continuing Canadian Complexion;[5] Federalism and the Constitution of Canada; [6] The People's House of Commons;[7] and, The Canadian Senate in Bicameral Perspective.[8]
