Craven[2] is the name given to the ward and suburb[3] of Melton Mowbray in the county of Leicestershire, England. It is one of the six wards of the town on Melton Borough Council.[4]

Geography

The River Eye passes through the ward.

The ward covers the southeastern part of the town and is split between the River Eye,[5] the Birmingham-Peterborough Line[6] and A606 road. It is predominately residential and has a large amount of greenbelt surrounding it.[7]
