Coalbank is a rural locality in the Toowoomba Region, Queensland, Australia.[2] In the 2021 census, Coalbank had a population of 45 people.[1]
History
[edit]Coalbank Provisional School opened in 1906. On 1 January 1909 it became Coalbank State School. It closed in 1961.[3]
On Sunday 15 March 1931 Bishop James Byrne blessed and officially opened St James' Catholic Church.[4]
Demographics
[edit]In the 2016 census Coalbank had a population of 30 people.[5]
In the 2021 census, Coalbank had a population of 45 people.[1]
