Cloverdale Township is one of thirteen townships in Putnam County, Indiana. As of the 2020 census, its population was 3,887 (down from 3,929 at 2010[3]) and it contained 1,698 housing units.[4]

Cloverdale Township was organized in 1846.[5]

Geography

According to the 2010 census, the township has a total area of 46.18 square miles (119.6 km2), of which 45.72 square miles (118.4 km2) (or 99.00%) is land and 0.46 square miles (1.2 km2) (or 1.00%) is water.[3]
