Jenaqerd (Persian: جَناقَرد) , The original name of this village is Chanaqbulaq; This name is a word composed of two meaningful words Chanaq meaning container and deep place with pit and Bulaq meaning spring; which has its roots in the Azerbaijani Turkish language; which means a place with a spring in a pit environment, or in simpler terms it can be said: it means a pit with a spring, which is its incorrect equivalent in Persian, Chanaqroud. Its equivalent word in Persian, Chanaqroud, has undergone changes and changes over time and has changed form from Chanaqroud to Chanaqard and Janaqard.[1] is a village in Sardabeh Rural District, in the Central District of Ardabil County, Ardabil Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 2,480, in 569 families.[2]
