Fictional character biography

[edit]

Early life

[edit]

Charlie Ronalds was orphaned at a young age after an unidentified mutant killed his parents. Subsequently, he was raised in several foster homes and developed behavioral problems and a hatred of mutants, who he blamed for his parents' death. He befriends Guido Carosella, who later became the X-Factor member Strong Guy. However, Charlie attacks Guido after discovering that he is a mutant and develops a chronic limp after Guido accidentally injures him.

Adulthood and confrontation with X-Factor

[edit]

Charlie spends much of his adult life studying the occult arts and eventually makes a deal with the demon Cloot. According to the terms of the deal, he would be granted superhuman abilities to battle X-Factor in return for giving Cloot their souls. However, he later refuses to honor the deal and is killed by the Devil.[1][2]
