Charbakh (Armenian: Չարբախ) is a Yerevan Metro station. It is located in Shengavit district and exits to Shirak and Araratyan streets. Station was opened to the public on 26 December, 1996. As it branches off from the Shengavit station away from Garegin Nzhdeh Square it is also served by a shuttle service from Shengavit.[1] It is the only station built after the independence of Armenia.

Description

It is the newest and cheapest station of the Yerevan metro. It is above ground, with one track. The metal roof of the pier rests on cylindrical columns, on which spherical lampshades are placed. The station is a dead end. it is surrounded by a reinforced concrete fence on three sides. The exit is from the side to the lobby with cash registers.

The architect is Valter Mnatsakanyan.
