Cerataulina is a diatom genus. Cerataulina is similar to another genus of the family Hemiaulaceae, Eucampia.[1] Cerataulina inhabits coastlines and estuaries.[1] Cerataulina was originally classified as Syringigium in 1980 by Hasle & Syvertsen.[1]
