People are not controversies!

I am concerned about this this category being applied to articles about people rather than about actual controversies. It seems arbitrary and dehumanising to categorise a person as a "controversy". Some of the people here are only "controversies" because they are targets of harassment which is very different from genuine controversy. Also some of the entries here are redirects. Do we need to have a clearout? DanielRigal (talk) 12:13, 17 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
