Tightening the definition
[edit]There was no consensus about the rename in the CfD, but I got the feeling there was clear consensus that this category should be restricted to "shows that premiered in London theatres." Anything that transferred to London after originating in the US would be excluded, for instance. I am inclined to agree with this definition.
I do concur with the rename, as I think "London West End musical" is indeed redundant... but that's another issue. - DrGaellon (talk | contribs) 16:54, 28 August 2007 (UTC)
West End musicals awkward as subcat of British musicals
[edit]The West End musicals category has been for musicals that have appeared in the West End. Some of those are British, some American, some from elsewhere. Now that there is a populated category of British musicals, the West End musicals category should go up a level. It would remain as a subcat of West End Theatre and Theatre in London. Any objections?
