I just noticed that the source I used for most of the additions to this list is copyrighted at theWaldorfs: "Copyright Notice: theWaldorfs own a copyright in "The International List of Famous Waldorf Alumni" as a compilation. It is particularly prohibited to post or otherwise make available on the Internet or in printed media the list without prior permission of theWaldorfs." Also the main editor of the list stated recently in Talk:Waldorf education that he doesn't want the list carried over to Wikipedia: "TheWaldorfs have been collecting, selecting and intensively checking notable Waldorf alumnis’ names for more than a decade now. The result of this huge amount of ongoing work, in a condensed form, is expressed in this list. To my understanding – and I am NOT going to take part in a discussion on this one – the list as a whole results from a creative effort and grants us compilation copyright (it is not only rearrangement of known information but through our own research creation of new information that has not been available in a larger public context before). And because of that, I don’t want to see a substantial part, leave alone the whole list be transferred to Wikipedia."

Therefore, I am going to remove most of the links that I added recently except those that can be verified elsewhere. This will take a bit of time, but there will still be a number of alumni listed. Interestingly there are four Waldorf alumni that have been identified on Wikipedia that area not in theWaldorfs list. --EPadmirateur (talk) 05:21, 13 December 2007 (UTC) designatio[reply]

I am removing the Waldorf alumnus designation from 7 people: Christoph Bantzer, Claus Bantzer, Cosma Shiva Hagen, Nastassja Kinski, Barbara Valentin, Veruschka, and Roeland Wiesnekker. I was not able to find any documentation of having attended a Waldorf school outside of theWaldorfs list itself. For all of the other (and for quite a few additional people), I was able to find documentation that they attended a Waldorf school. Interestingly, the information for these additional people came from the different Wikipedia articles from the different countries or languages (en, de, no, fi). Also I was able to find several entries from Waldorf school sites that listed "notable alumni". I will pass the information on these alumni to Cjauernig's talk page. The one interesting person to omit is Nastassja Kinski who apparently was on theWaldorfs list (because several older versions of the list or extracts of the list include her) but now has been removed. There must be a good reason. In any case, I could not find any independent documentation that she attended Waldorf. --EPadmirateur (talk) 21:04, 16 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
