The scope of the category confuses me
[edit]Doesn't "unceded territory" refer to NON-reserve lands that a band claims Aboriginal title to? There should be no reserves in the category, right? --Kevlar (talk • contribs)
- The designation "Indian reserve" is given by INAC, ceded or unceded. As an encyclopedia, we have to accept the designation "reserve" as that is how INAC and StatsCan both treat them. "Unceded territories" as a category, we can do. We can show which "reserves" are unceded to the Crown. FUNgus guy (talk) 05:41, 13 March 2019 (UTC)
