Who is a tectonicist?
[edit]Tectonicist is a somewhat old-fashoned word. Nowadays Earth scientists dealing with simmilar topics identify with their main branch of speciality be it geophysics, structural geology, sedimentology etc. I propose to reserve this category for those who worked on tectonics before the 1960s when plate tectonics broke through. Also a tectonicist must have made somesignificant contribution on the subject or being involved in the debate. Lappspira (talk) 18:37, 12 March 2018 (UTC)
