This category should not be speedy deleted as being unpopulated, because... the attempt to categorise by author exists, I would oppose that, but see no basis for eliminating this particular stem, (apologies if I don't see that, cannot be populated?) --cygnis insignis 17:00, 28 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

However, I notice that these categories have been preëmpting the creation of author pages, perhaps undesirable for N and RS reasons. Being lead author on a new taxon is notable, I personally think anyone involved should get an article, creating the category first is inadvisable. cygnis insignis 17:07, 28 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
