Opposed speedy move request

~~Oppose~~. I see that Mclay1 moved the article from Shrines to the Virgin Mary to Shrines to Mary, mother of Jesus two weeks ago. Marian shrines might be a preferable title, per ngrams. Ham II (talk) 12:50, 17 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Ham II: Surely we should move the category to match the current article name (which is consistent with other Mary articles and categories) and then have a discussion on the article talk page about renaming the article? OK, that's fair. I've struck my opposition and will do an RM at some point. Ultimately I think this category should be at Category:Marian shrines and Category:Holy wells of St Mary should be at Category:Marian holy wells. Ham II (talk) 06:59, 18 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
