4 years?
[edit]There reads: The ISAF Sailing World Championships have been held every four years since 2003.
However, when I go to Category:ISAF Sailing World Championships and click the first list, List of World Championships medalists in sailing (centreboard classes) there are medalists for 505 class for year 1956 through 2007 (every year). And they were not contested in Olympic Games, since 1956 & 1960 races were held at La Baule and 1964 at Cork. Sounds not like olympic sites to me. 85.217.38.114 (talk) 14:27, 17 December 2011 (UTC)
- Or this could mean the four year interval is used since 2003. But is can be read like they begun in 2003. 85.217.38.114 (talk) 14:33, 17 December 2011 (UTC)

- Oppose speedy for above four. Only recetly move and without discussion, so C2D doesn't apply. Armbrust The Homunculus 14:38, 23 February 2018 (UTC)
- @Armbrust: afaics, World Sailing was moved to its current title in 9 June 2016[1]. --BrownHairedGirl (talk) • (contribs) 15:52, 23 February 2018 (UTC)
- @BrownHairedGirl: But the proposed title don't rely on the article World Sailing, but instead on World Sailor of the Year Awards, Women's Match Racing World Championship, Sailing World Cup and Sailing World Championships. Armbrust The Homunculus 15:57, 23 February 2018 (UTC)
- @Armbrust: I saw the moves as uncontroversial following the 2016 move. Smartskaft (talk) 16:21, 23 February 2018 (UTC)
- @Smartskaft: they probably are uncontroversial, but the criteria for speedy renaming are quite narrow. Speedy actions which later turn out later to be controversial can cause a lot of drama, so all speedy criteria are defined with tests which aim to be clear and objective. --BrownHairedGirl (talk) • (contribs) 02:29, 24 February 2018 (UTC)

- Stale: @Smartskaft No comments in 7 days, so this discussion is now stale, and I am going to remove it. It can of course be proposed as a full CfD discussion. --BrownHairedGirl (talk) • (contribs) 11:08, 15 March 2018 (UTC)
