Purpose of this category
[edit]Note that this category should only be used for words that are examples of reduplication in linguistics. Place names showing reduplication should go in its sub-category.
Mere repeated words in media such as The The, Mr. Mister, Gimme Gimme, Jay Jay or Rebel Rebel are not relevant or helpful. At one point I added these, but later removed them following the discussion at WP:CFD. - Fayenatic (talk) 21:59, 21 June 2008 (UTC)
