Category talk:Periodic phenomena

I have just been (re-)creating a category of cycle. Its intention is exactly the same as this category periodic phenomena. After I had added 34 articles I noticed that I had come across this category for the first time. Obviously the two need to be merged. I will continue with the one that I am doing and include all of these items into it so that when a decision is made what to do, they are all in one place. Ray Tomes 13:19, 16 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

On looking more closely there may be some small differences. Ray Tomes 13:25, 16 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed Articles for Category

[edit]

Since writing the above, all the work that I did on category cycle has been deleted. The reason is that it was stated that this was a recreation of a category that was voted to be deleted. The fact is the vote was for keep but it was deleted. The category that I created the next time was narrower and nearer to this category. One criticism I would make of this category is that it includes a section of disaster related article which are not periodic at all. There follows a list of articles that I consider appropriate for this category. I put these here for discussion before adding them: Ray Tomes 02:22, 21 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
