I question the need for the move. We do have Category:Natives of London and Category:Natives of Berlin and Category:Natives of Aberdeen. Moreover, to be perfectly honest, if we were to poll a cross-section of English speakers, wouldn't the conclusion most likely be "Natives of Beijing" sounds more encyclopedic than "Beijingers"? Is Beijinger a widely-enough accepted term for an encyclopedia? Would we use Dalianer? (for those from Dalian, China) or Kunmingers or Harbiners or Archoragians? --Dpr 21:11, 15 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

I attempted to revert but ran into technical difficulties. I encourage folks who support this category to give stronger arguments for their side. Otherwise, I feel it should be returned to Category:Natives of Beijing. --Dpr 20:05, 22 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Diffusion?

[edit]

This category is getting fairly large. Thoughts on diffusing it? --Nlu (talk) 23:33, 12 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
