Lochtegate involved four individuals, Ryan Lochte, Jimmy Feigen, Gunnar Bentz, and Jack Conger. Feigen, Bentz, and Conger were detained and interview by Brazilian police and are in Category:Prisoners and detainees of Brazil. Lochte says he was the possible victim of an armed robbery, while the Brazilians have charged him with a false report to police. Nominally, Category:People associated with crime is appropriate for this interim status where criminal/victim status is ambiguous (possibly both are true), however this Cat of Category:People associated with crime is seemingly appropriate for Lochte is clearly labeled with "This is a container category. Due to its scope, it should contain only subcategories." So it shouldn't go here.
Any feedback on an appropriate Cat or suggestions for a new bridge-type Cat to encompass this sort of dual grey area (charged, but not yet tied; he and lawyer also say he is a victim)? Also, Lochte's lawyer states Lochte won't return to Brazil, so this dual POV status situation might persist for a while, unless tried in absentia. UW Dawgs (talk) 20:32, 10 September 2016 (UTC)
