There really is an overload of categories referring to organized crime or criminals. Can somebody explain me what the difference is between Category:Organized crime people and Category:Organized criminals. There are so many categories now that one looses track. I suggest that we create some clear categories and stick with those. -- Mafia Expert 13:07, 19 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

@Mafia Expert: Organised crime people are the persons who are involved in or connected to organised crime, but those who arent criminals. Examples would include historians of OC, law and enforcement officers from organized crime division; J. Edgar Hoover, Robert Kennedy, research authors (but not fiction authors). Where as organised criminals are... well criminals involved in organised crime. But it excludes criminals like Ted Bundy. —usernamekiran(talk) 10:32, 23 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
