Lutherie versus Luthiery

Up to-date if you google Luthiery you get about 31.600 results and if you google Lutherie you get 814.000. Lutherie is certainly more popular all over the world because, as a matter of fact, includes commonly the construction and the maintenance of all bowed stringed instruments. My proposal is to take only Lutherie category and pointing to that all the articles pointing to Luthiery.

Merge?

Perhaps this category should be merged into Category:String instrument construction. I don't see a clear distinction between the two, and while Lutherie might be more formal, "String instrument construction" is clearer to the uninitiated.--Srleffler (talk) 18:03, 10 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
