Repopulated
[edit]I repopulated this after the CFD, using selected sub-cats from Crosses by form and Crosses by function. The current contents are:
- Celtic crosses (7 P)
- Crucifixes (6 P)
- Crux gemmata (13 P)
- Memorial crosses (7 P)
- Monumental crosses (1 C, 24 P)
- Processional crosses (7 P)
- Reliquary crosses (7 P)
- Wayside crosses (6 P)
- Direct members not included above: Cloisters Cross, Coesfeld Cross, Cruz de la Parra, Great Cross of Hendaye, San Damiano cross.
I'd be interested to see if this can be improved upon. – Fayenatic London 11:06, 10 June 2016 (UTC)
- Thanks, I've added various things to various categories - "Stone" is still not fully inclusive I think, and of course is hardly a "form", but a material (not that I want to encourage more categories here). "Monumental" here seems to really mean "colossal" - "Monumental" in normal usage would normally cover anything above say 4 foot high. I doubt "memorial" is full - some of the "Monumental" have a memorial function. But it much better than it was formerly. Thanks again! Johnbod (talk) 12:34, 10 June 2016 (UTC)
