i'm not an expert on this subject, but i'm almost positive that this list is incomplete.

Good point. What do you think about merging with the category Category:Pre-Hispanic cultures of Mexico? Also feel free to expand. Dpv 03:54, 20 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I dont think that is a good idea because many prehispanic cultures are unknown or no longer exist as indigenous peoples. I think it should rather be merged with category: Ethnic Groups in Mexico--Maunus 09:20, 8 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I have been trying to expand the list for a very long time. How can I edit this page to include more peoples? Every time I click on "edit this page" nothing comes up.--Manny 21:22, 7 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

this page only shows the directory of wikipedia pages marked with the category "indigenous peoples of Mexico". In order to include more peoples you should find or make pages referring to indigenous mexican peoples and mark them with the category marker. After that they will appear on this page. That is the peoples missing are missing because they dont have a wikipedia page yet.

Thanks, I already added 4 more groups, but bring me to another question. Is this category for all cultures and tribes that at any time called present day Mexico their home or is it only for present day indigenous peoples living in Mexico?--Manny 21:30, 8 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
