This page has no explanatory intro, Wikipedia has nothing at Immediate sequel and I've never heard the term before. The only thing I can find on the 'net is a vague description at TV Tropes that loosely defines the term in such a way that I can't imagine this would be WP:DEFINING for a film. - SummerPhD^v2.0 13:25, 12 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
