Organizing this category

[edit]

Hi all - I have taken steps to organize the category into subcategories, redistributing page links from a number well over 150 to something more manageable/meaningful. There is still work left to do, though, as many HCI-related articles do not reference this category or any underneath. It could probably also use another round of subcategories. Thanks. -- Dx 01:13, 27 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Eye Tracking

[edit]

Category:Human–computer interaction

Eye tracking is a technology that is gaining popularity in the Human-Computer Interaction field. Eye tracking software allows the designer to track the area of the website where the user focuses the most. The output of eye-tracking software would be an image showing more dense color in the area that is focused on by the user the most. The designer can check this result and confirm whether the most important information of the website, intended to be seen by the user, is spotted by the user.
