Storms?

[edit]

Under which category do articles about storms fit? Jamesmcmahon0 (talk) 16:47, 27 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Topics

[edit]

Is it sufficient to simply add one of the topics? For example, instead of saying "topic=Art and architecture", we can put in "topic=art" or "topic=architecture"? Is capitalization needed? Thanks. – S. Rich (talk) 04:58, 2 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

To answer my own question it looks like the single topic terms, with or without capitalization, will work. – S. Rich (talk) 05:25, 2 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Keywords

[edit]

The template {{GA/Topic}} provides a list of key words which will work in the topic value parameter. Can this listing (or template) be incorporated into the category page explanation? Thanks. – S. Rich (talk) 19:06, 7 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Change of tense in my edit

[edit]

I changed the tenses in the sentence: "For example, adding "|topic=Art and architecture" to the template via this edit, removed the talk page from this Category:Good articles without topic parameter and placed it into Category:Art and architecture good articles." to "For example, adding "|topic=art" to the template via this edit will remove the talk page from this Category:Good articles without topic parameter and place it into Category:Art and architecture good articles."

It wasn't incorrect, but the first time I came to this page looking for something to do, I thought I needed to (add the topic), (remove the talk page), and (place the article). I think changing the tenses makes it a little clearer that adding the topic results in those actions (remove/place)automatically. Schaz (talk) 15:34, 21 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Also, I changed the topic value to the short form, as an example that the long name doesn't have to be used. Schaz (talk) 15:35, 21 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Language shortcuts not working

[edit]

The GA topic category hasn't been resolving when I use "language" or "literature" (acceptable values per the table). I was only able to get them to "take" by using the full "Language and literature". Schazjmd (talk) 02:37, 15 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
