Why are so many pictures in this category? Do we need to established a subcategory named like "Go pictures" and put all these pictures to that subcategory? I think that would be great! --Neo-Jay09:33, 15 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]
OK. I found the reasons why so many images are in the Category of Go. It is becasue they use the template of Weiqi-image, which was put into the category of Go. I changed the category of that Template to Go images. But those images using that template did not automatically move to that subcategory. I finally found the reason: "Adding or deleting a category tag in the template does not add or delete the listings on the category page of pages that use the template, until some edit is made in the page that uses the template" (See the relevant sections in the Wiki help file about Category). Accordingly I moved that template into the new subcategory of "Go templates" and "noinclude" the category so that the articles using that template will not appear in the same category. And I am editing all those hundreds of images to put them into the subcategory of Go images. It is a tough job. If you can give a hand to help this, that would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. --Neo-Jay00:37, 23 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]
