The categories for "Former Foos"—various denominations within Christianity—should not be subcategories of this category, since people who leave one denomination of Christianity don't always become "former Christians". Often people move from one denomination in Christianity to another. E.g., most people who join Mormonism were formerly members of a different denomination.
