Fictional sharks are not real sharks, similar to hypoglycemia meaning low blood sugar. I saw a real shark one time, but it was dead and a guy shot it in the head with a .357 (this was before it was dead, though). My favorite kind of shark is a fictional shark, cuz it can't bite me. I suppose it could bite the fictional me, however. If that were to occur, I would try to punch the shark in it's snout with a broomstick or other long, firm object (tee hee), cuz I read somewhere that that could kill a shark or at least, stun it for a moment while you swam away really quick-like.
