How are Khmer Rouge and Syndicalism on par? Syndicalism is not far left. Claiming that the most radical and extremist terrorist groups are like normal, benign leftist ideologies is shifting the Overton window to the right. If you really want to say that democratic socialism or direct democracy are far left, extremist, unthinkable ideologies, maybe that means you are dogmatically fixated on racist, capitalist, oligarchic, imperialist power structures and can't think of a mainstream left with any socialism or anarchism in it.
