I carried out the same merge in Russian Wikipedia, but was reverted, so ru:Категория:Игроки ФК «Спортинвест» remains separate. – Fayenatic London 07:48, 20 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@Fayenatic london In Russian Wiki the club article ru:Спортинвест (футбольный клуб) was not merged into ru:Авангард (футбольный клуб, Жёлтые Воды) either, but the English FC Sportinvest Kryvyi Rih has been merged and is a redirect to FC Avanhard Zhovti Vody. So in both cases the structure of the categories is consistent with the article space, so there is no problem per se. It does not look like Sportinvest was notable on its own until FC Sirius Kryvyi Rih (one of incarnations of Avanhard) merged into it, and then the new merged club was dissolved after one season, so there doesn't seem to be independent Sportinvest notability. The Ruwiki articles probably should have been merged as well, but I have no strong argument either way. Geregen2 (talk) 14:38, 20 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
