What really belongs in this category?

This category is underpopulated. The question is - what articles should be in this category?

Articles about substances for which there are closed or open studies listed at ClinicalTrials.gov are one easy addition.
- ALK inhibitor was one such article
- Using the above as an example, I added Crizotinib
Others are less clearly appropriate, at first glance, but seem OK upon further investigation:
- Upon searching, Quercetin does fit the criteria I suggested: [1]
I don't think that substances that are listed, in the article, of having possible medical benefit would automatically be appropriate for this category.
- An example is Ischemic preconditioning, an article whose lede asserts that it is "an experimental technique", but otherwise does not state its use in any studies in the article text (see that article's talk page
Substances whose article offer verifiable assertion of their experimental use should be added, even if not found on ClinicalTrials.gov. For example:
- Insulin potentiation therapy is not listed at ClinicalTrials.gov [2], but the article has a reference of an experimental use: [3]
